Monitor box

Use one Monitor box per scene to display information about all events in a scene.

Key points:

• Investigating a flowchart: Choose the flowchart's variables you wish to monitor by clicking the arrow in the top right of the Monitor part and then clicking on the flowchart.
• Tracking variable values: The Monitor box shows the name and value of a variable you may have declared using a Set variable part. This information remains until no flowchart is running that can access the variable.
• Altering flowchart speed: Choose the fast option in the Monitor box to change the running speed of flowcharts from the slow default setting. You can also alter the flowchart speed in the Scene properties or Application toolbar.
• Debugging flowchart routines: Use the Pause option to pause all the flowcharts in the scene and manually step through the routines with the Step button.
